Loti, Pierre Authors Literature
Pierre Loti was the pen name of Louis Marie Julien Viaud, a French naval officer. Best known as a novelist and travel writer, he also turned his hand to short stories, drama, and journalism. He was elected to the Academy in 1891, and died in 1923.
