Boulanger, Nadia Juliette Composers Composition Music
French composer, music teacher, and conductor Nadia Juliette Boulanger (1887-1979) was a student of Fauré. Nadia stopped composing after the death of younger sister Lili. She taught in France and in the United States and her students included Aaron Copland, Walter Piston, and Roger Sessions. She also established several firsts as a woman conductor.
