Bretón, Tomás Composers Composition Music

Spanish composer Tomás Bretón (1850-1923) followed an international style in his chamber music while writing more intentionally Spanish in many of his orchestral works. He helped to revive and promote the Zarzuela music that began in seventeenth century Spain.
