Durey, Louis Composers Composition Music

French contemporary composer, born in 1888 and died 1979. Louis Durey joined Les Six but left after a year to allow time for his political affiliations. He was Secretary General of the Fédération Musicale Populaire and the Association Française des Musiciens Progressistes.
