Ippolitov-Ivanov, Mikhail Mikhailovich Composers Composition Music
Russian Romantic composer Mikhail Mikhaylovich Ippolitov-Ivanov (1859 - 1935) followed the nationalist lead of the Moguchaya Kuchka in using the rich ethnic heritage of the various parts of the Russian Empire. He also taught at the Tbilisi Conservatory in Georgia and then at the Moscow Conservatory.
