Lyatoshynsky, Boris Mykolayovich Composers Composition Music
Ukrainian composer Boris Mykolayovich Lyatoshynsky (1895-1968) is honored as the father of contemporary Ukrainian music. After following western experimental trends for a time, he returned to his land's native melodies, including folk songs, following the work done by Mykola Lysenko.
