Ferrer, José People Arts
Jose Ferrer (1909 - 1992) was an American stage and screen actor of Puerto Rican parents. His real name was Jose Vincente Ferrery Centron. Well respected in the film industry and starred in several classic films, as well as directed and released several musical recordings. Ferrer received an Academy Award for Best Actor for playing Cyrano de Bergerac. He was once married to singer, Rosemary Clooney.
