It includes Lochwinnoch, Bridge of Weir, Kilbarchan, Houston, Elderslie, Johnston, Howwood, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine, and Bishopton.The traditional county of Renfrewshire covered a much larger region, including areas which are now part of Inverclyde and East Renfrewshire, and the City of Glasgow.
