Armoured Units Military Government
Armoured (US = armor) units of the Canadian Forces Land Force (Army) are called Regiments. US terminology would call these organizations Squadrons or Battalions. Such units in Canada are generally either Reserve (part-time), or Regular (full-time). Reconnaissance (US=Cavalry) units are included in this category
