Knott Counties Kentucky United States


Knott County was formed in 1884. It is located in the Daniel Boone Country region of the state. The elevation in the county ranges from 675 to 2360 feet above sea level. In 2000 the county population was 17,649 in a land area of 352.19 square miles. The county seat is Hindman.
