Kansas City Localities Missouri United States

The city is located along the Missouri River, the western boundary of the state. The much smaller city of Kansas City, Kansas is found on the other side of the river. Kansas City is the second-largest city in Missouri after St. Louis, which is located along the Mississippi River, the eastern boundary of the state.
