Beaver Counties Oklahoma United States
Located in the Oklahoma Panhandle, present-day Beaver County was created from the eastern one-third of that area. Named for Beaver River, this county comprised the entire panhandle prior to statehood. Its county seat, Beaver, was at one time the capital of Cimarron Territory. Land Area: 1,817 square miles of primarily farm land
