Lavandula Lamiaceae Magnoliopsida Magnoliophyta
Lavandula L. is a genus of small shrubs, subshrubs and herbs native to the warm temperate parts of the old world. They are found from the Canary Islands, through southern Europe and north and east Africa, to India. Many species are strongly aromatic. Commonly known as lavender.
