Crates of Thebes Philosophers Philosophy
Crates of Thebes (Crates the Cynic, Krates), fl. c. 300 BC. Cynic philosopher and husband of Hipparchia. He was a student of Diogenes of Sinope, and a teacher of the Stoic Zeno of Citium.
