Lipsius, Justus Philosophers Philosophy
Justus Lipsius (Josse Lips, Joest Lips), 1547-1606. Early Modern Belgian classical scholar and humanist. His revival of Stoicism influenced a number of contemporary thinkers, notably Montaigne.
