Vanini, Lucilio Philosophers Philosophy
Lucilio (Giulio Cesare) Vanini, 1585-1619. Early modern Italian humanist scholar, who was burnt at the stake on charges of atheism and witchcraft. Some of his teachings anticipated the writings of Darwin.
