Yulgok Philosophers Philosophy
Yulgok, pen name of Yi I (I I), 1536-1584. Korean Neo-Confucian philosopher known for his pragmatic opposition to Toegye's doctrines. He is also remembered for foreseeing the Japanese invasion of Korea which took place in 1592.
